80’s Cube Clock

I'll be honest. I didn't like the Rubik's Cube. I also didn't like anyone who was good at solving the Rubik's Cube. But I do like this alarm clock. When you just twist the top, the display changes. Depending on which side you flip to, it shows the time, temperature, and date.

Late-For-Dinner Plates

I am gaga over these floral melamine dinner plates. I like how they all share the same Spring-y green, orange, and black color scheme, but each one has a different pattern. Because they're plastic, they'd be great for serving up a meal on the patio.

BareMinerals True Gold Glimmer

This eyeshadow really dresses up eyes for nighttime. When worn alone, it gives eyelids a peachy-gold sparkle that's not overly flashy. You can also layer it over other eye colors as a highlighter or to give a matte shade some glimmer.

Pintucked Chiffon Top

This sleeveless chiffon secretary blouse is flow-y and feminine. I love the ruffles, the thin bow, and the tiny pintucks. Throw it over a camisole for a romantic, breezy look. It also comes in teal.

Nigella Lawson Measuring Cups

I really like how these measuring cups look like real teacups. The black ceramic cups are pretty enough to display on the counter on a little mug tree or on a shelf in the kitchen. You can use them to measure out 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, and 1 cup.

Kate Spade Off-The-Hook Calling Card

If you're going to be giving out your number to strangers (hey, maybe you met some cool people in your knitting circle--I'm not judging), this is a pretty swanky way to do it. Each card has room on the back for you to write your name, number, and a teensy note. So now you'll be able to easily slip your digits to Orlando Bloom if you pass him on the street.

Gorgeous Helen

The name of these little lamp shades designed by Anke and Katrin is pretty ridiculous, but they're a cool way to create mood lighting for a party. You just pop a tealight in a wineglass and put the shade over the top. Voila! Little table lamps. If only it came with a tool to help you get wax out of wine glasses...

Designer Switchplates

My light switches look so dull now that I've looked at the more than 70 cool switch plate designs from A La Mode. They have everything from silly sarcastic designs to kooky patterns--composed of sock monkeys or sushi--and pretty floral and brocade patterns. For an extra couple bucks you can even get your name or initial on the plate, which is nice for kids (or super possessive adults).

Circus Cookie Cutters

Remember those animal crackers you used to love as a kid? Now you can make your own with this cookie cutter set. You get five animals: giraffe, lion, tiger, seal (which kind of looks like a squid), and elephant. They all come in a fun circus trailer shaped box. Sadly, pink icing is not included. But you can buy the cookie mix.

Thomas Paul Magazine Holder

Wow, these are a way prettier way to organize your periodicals than my usual stack- the- magazines- on- any- available- surface method. These magazine holders, which come in four dainty Thomas Paul patterns, make your collection of gossip rags look super chic.

Printed Glass Birdie Hook

I can't quite figure out how you screw these glass bird hooks to the wall, but I really like them. The funky patterns are awesome. These would look great in an entryway. You could use them to hold your jacket or keep track of your keys, which always seem to be wandering off.

$14.00 each, Urban Outfitters

Fossil Weekender Cosmetic Bag

I like this little makeup bag. It has a fun, retro flower pattern. And it's sort of small--nine inches by four inches. So you can toss in a couple of essentials (lipgloss, some mascara, a little eyeshadow, a compact, and concealer) and fit it into almost any purse.

$16.00, Dillards

Hula Bud Vase

These little 3.5-inch-tall vases, which come in yellow or green, are so cute. Though you can't put long-stemmed roses in them, they'd look very cheery with a handful of daisies. They're a nice compact size for a desk or bathroom sink.

Marimekko Unikko Mini Flat Manual Umbrella

I kept buying these $5 umbrellas from vendors on the street, and they kept falling apart after one or two storms. I recently ponied up for one of these Marimekko mini umbrellas, which I really like. It has a fun poppy pattern, and it folds up super tiny--about six inches long. It's so small that I can keep it in my bag all the time. Plus, it comes with a really nice carrying sleeve.

Nintendo Mushroom Sours Three Pack

Here are some more Super Mario-inspired goodies: little mushrooms from the game stuffed with sour candies. In the game, the green mushroom gives you an extra life, the red mushroom makes you bigger, and the blue mushroom... wait, there was a blue mushroom? I have no idea what the blue mushroom does, but anyway, there's candy inside. So, all good.
