These are great for when you want to play that cool new song you put on your iPod for someone, but don't like the idea of your precious earbuds going in his ears. Ick. These speakers are a little less than five inches wide when folded.

This cool travel radio comes in several colors and cranks out high-fidelity audio. Buy an extra cable for five bucks, and you can also use it as travel speakers for your iPod or other MP3 player. It runs on six rechargeable AA batteries, but you can recharge them just by plugging in the AC adapter.

This nifty fan designed by Marc Berthier is great for your desk or bedside table. I really like the simple, chic design and how the blades match the switch. The blades are made of soft PVC, so you won't hurt yourself if you stick your hand in there.

This DVD, which was released today, is worth buying just for the '80s-inspired "Pop Goes My Heart" music video at the beginning of the movie. This film also contains very funny performances from Hugh Grant (as a washed up pop star) and from Kristen Johnston (as his biggest fan).

These clocks are really nifty. They rock back and forth almost like a pendulum, but in kind of a sporadic way. The clocks seems to have their own personalities. Each clock runs on a AA battery.

This 15.5-inch-wide bag is a refined and feminine way to lug around your notebook computer. I can't get enough of the white quilted satin lining. You can also buy a slightly larger version with extra room for pens, chargers, your cell phone, and a few magazines.

Hit snooze too much? This alarm clock actually rolls off your nightstand, and forces you to get out of bed and hunt for it if you want the noise to stop. I wish they would have had these back when I was in high school. I bet my younger brother does too, since he was so often asked to "wake up your sister." I am not very nice in the morning.

This will clash with some cell phones, but it's a stunning alternative to that uggo gray strap that comes with every clamshell phone. The round tiger's eye beads transform your mobile phone into a true accessory.

While this doesn't appear to be super duper portable, I dig this little alarm clock. You can use it with an iPod, Shuffle, or Nano, and it charges them while they are docked. It also has a remote control and a battery backup.
