Turquoise Oval Stoneware Basket

Easter has come and gone, but this stoneware basket can keep your table looking Spring-y. What's really cool is that if you pop it in the oven for a while, and then line it with a tea towel, it will keep rolls, muffins, and other yummy breads warm on the table.

Kamui Magazine Rack

When I first saw this thing, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It kind of reminds me of a giant blue clothespin. Turns out its a mod magazine rack. It's only four inches wide, so it doesn't take up a lot of floor space next to your couch or in the bathroom or wherever you do your reading. It also comes in black, white, or red.

$37.00, Loft Party

Kitchenette Cafe Curtains

They're sorta tacky and definitely cheesy, but I still think these cotton cafe curtains, decked out with pears and cherries, would look so cute in my kitchen. You can get a matching valance for another $12.

Winsome Adjustable Airlift Cone Stool

I might have to somehow add a bar-style counter to my kitchen so I can get some of these shiny stools. They're made of hard plastic and steel. For high counters (or if you need to reach something, but are too lazy to get up) you can use the airlift and the stool raises eight inches.

Nuvo Hourglass

I love the look of these brown, blue, and clear hourglasses designed by Roost in California. But if you're looking for something to sub in for your missing Taboo timer, forget it. These don't keep accurate time. They're just for show.

Chris Rubino Birdcage Wall Art

This canvas wall art by artist Chris Rubino is really cute. I especially like that the bird is out of its cage. I'm pretty sure it's about to eat chocolate cake for dinner too. The canvas print is 30 inches tall and 24 inches wide.

Grassland Coasters

I could smell spring in the air yesterday (the spring scent must have been working hard to overpower the smell of New York City), and it made me long to see some green stuff on the trees again. Until then, you can add some spring to your coffee table with these clear glass coasters decorated with leafy decals.

Pablo Tube Top Color Lamp

When I was in art class in junior high, our teacher had us create a diorama of our dream home. I'm pretty sure something similar to this lamp was in it. (There was also a stream flowing through the living room.) The lamp base, which comes in six different colors, is made of acrylic, and the shade is a light mesh fabric.

You Can Call Me Flower Lamp Base

Hey, it's Flower from Bambi! Or maybe it's Pepé Le Pew. Or some other lovable skunk. No matter who it is, the point is that ceramic skunks make pretty awesome lamps. If you're looking for a cool shade to go with it, I like this one and this one and this one.

Glass Trinket Box

This little glass container for jewelry and other baubles is cute and girly. Except it's 6.5 inches in diameter, which means it could hold about one tenth of my jewelry collection. It also makes a cute candy dish.

Flowers in a Can

This looks like something you could put in your lunch box, but it's actually flowers. Well, soil and some seeds anyway. You pop the top, add water and sunshine, and you'll get some dahlias, geraniums, impatiens, or pansies. Unless you're me, in which case you will get a green bud that droops and turns brown because you forget to water it.

$10.00, Fred Flare

Sheepskin Floor Cushion

Even though this white sheepskin floor cushion is kind of pricey, I fantasize about curling up on a pile of them. They look so fuzzy and soft. Each floor pillow is a 26-inch square, stuffed with foam and polyester fiberfill.

$89.00, West Elm

Link Side Table

This side table is so awesome. It's welded together out of more than 1,000 iron rings. Granted, you can't really plop your loose change onto it...or anything else small enough to slip through the holes, but it looks really cool. And you can put a lamp on it. It holds up to 16 pounds.

Standing Tall Watercolor Print

This print from Angela Vandenbogaard, an art student in Ontario, Canada, is so cheerful. The print is on 8.5- by 11-inch cardstock. She has a lot of fun tree prints in her Etsy shop. I also really like the Mothers Daughter print.

Tree Hook

This coat tree even looks like a tree. Well, I guess it's actually a hook. Anyway, it's made out of heavy duty steel so it can handle a lot of weight. Although I'm not sure if it's strong enough to hold my bag, which recently weighed in at 8 pounds. (It's a wonder I can walk upright.)
