Stila Mandarin Mist Eye Shadow Trio

I like these new pink shimmery earth tone shadows from Stila. They're part of the Mandarin Mist line. These three-packs come in two similar varieties: kitten and mandarin. Kitten has more of a plum palette and mandarin's palette is more pink.

Yuzu Bergamot Moisturizer

This body lotion has a pleasantly fresh, citris scent thanks to its essential oils of bergamot orange and yuzu fruit, a small citris fruit grown in Japan that supposedly tastes like a combination of a grapefruit and a mandarin orange. It also contains soothing aloe and chamomile.

Calming Lavender Shea Butter Lip Balm

I like lavender, but I wasn't sure about putting it on my lips. Never fear: this stuff smells and tastes quite nice. And it feels rich and luxurious. I went through a tube of this fairly quickly, since I was obsessively-compulsively putting it on.

$5.00, Caswell-Massey

Masaki Matsushima Cherry Perfume

This fragrance is inspired by the soft scent of cherry blossoms (as opposed to, say, a cherry Jolly Rancher). It has notes of cherry, black currant, lotus flower, sweet pea, raspberry, and blackberry.

$60 for 1.35 ounces, Sephora

Dashing Diva Colour Foundation

This stuff is great. It has oils that moisturize your nails and keep them looking healthy, and it creates a nice, smooth base for your nail polish. Plus, it protects your nails from getting stained when you wear a dark color.

$5.00, Dashing Diva

H20 Plus Eye Color

I am a big fan of these eye shades, especially the pink hues like "mist" and "shell." I like how the colors go on light and blend very well with my skin tone.

$14.00, H20 Plus

Lollia Relax Shea Butter Handcreme

This shea butter cream with honey and lavender feels so rich and silky. And it has a light floral scent that had me sniffing my hands all day. I'm sure I looked like a total weirdo.

$24.00, Amazon.com

Vegebom Shea Butter Cream

If my mom had a shopping blog, she'd probably write about this. I picked this up for her a year or two ago, unaware that it was some kind of miracle salve. It really works wonders on dry skin.

$14.99, Walter Drake

Pink Jasmine Eau de Parfum

This is my new favorite fragrance. It's very floral, with scents of not only jasmine, but freesia, lilac, magnolia, and peony. And yet, it's not a prim and proper fragrance. There's something kind of raw and sassy about the base note.

$75.00, Fresh

Grosella and Violeta Lip Balm

These scented lip balms are imported from Spain. The pink smells like red current and the other has the fragrance of violets. I especially like the pretty embellished tins.

$6.00 each, Caswell-Massey

Perfect Kisses

This kit by Pout has everything to make your lips look more luscious: a lip exfoliation cream, a "super" lip balm, a lip liner, and a tube of "lip plump" in bubblegum pink.

$28.00, Sephora

Arbonne Intelligence Daily Moisturizing Cream

I bought some of this Swiss moisturizer from a neighbor and was surprised by how gentle it felt on my face. Fortunately, they sell this stuff online so you don't have to go hunting around for a local Arbonne lady.

$38.50, Arbonne International

Vitamin C Lip Care Stick

This is my lip balm du jour. The Vitamin C supposedly knocks out free radicals, and this stick also has an SPF 15 sunscreen built right in. Plus, it has this very faint citrus smell and taste that's kind of wonderful.

$5.00, The Body Shop

Smythson Make-Up Brush Roll

If you're serious about your make-up brushes, this is the way to transport them. This creamy leather roll comes with eight sable brushes and a set of tweezers.

$425.00, Smythson

Tarte Inside Out Vitamin Lip Gloss

I like the conceit behind this product: To wear a lot of lip gloss is to ingest a lot of lip gloss, so why not put some heathly stuff in there? Each of these sparkly, pomegranate- scented shades is infused with vitamins and extracts from Borba Neutraceuticals.

$21.00, Tarte Cosmetics
