Toxic Critters Zip Wallet

This vinyl wallet decorated with animals looks so cutesy until you realize the squirrel has three eyes and the raccoon has two tails... and they're all hanging out next to an industrial plant. Somehow, it's still pretty cute anyway. The company also makes coin purses featuring your favorite mutated animals here.

Loop Express Yourself Bag

This handbag is kind of scary looking, but kind of awesome. It's from Loop, one of my favorite accessories designers, and each side of the black-and-white striped bag has a different face. One side is a grinning smiley face. The other is pure wrath. You can decide which one you feel like showing to the world today.

Antique Pottery Shard Necklace

I like how this pretty necklace from Twist Style in Richmond, Virginia, looks both Victorian and modern. The pendant is made of vintage porcelain pottery, and the strand is hand-knotted cord, which is about 17-inches long, that's strung with blue Italian crystal beads.

Recycled Magazine Clutch

This clutch designed by Nahui Ollin is made of recycled paper and magazine clippings that have been covered in recycled plastic. That makes for a cool eco-friendly bag that looks sort of like a ransom note. It's definitely a conversation piece.

Geode Slice Necklace

This necklace, designed by Peggy Li, is so beautiful. It's made of a milky slice of agate geode from Brazil, with crystals lining the center. The agate pendant is about 1.5 inches long. It comes with either a gold-fill or a sterling silver chain, in lengths of 16, 18, and 20 inches.

Cerises Earrings

These 1.5-inch cherry earrings from Sweet Rhyme (a division of Rhyme and Reason Designs in Santa Barbara, California), are just too precious. They're made with sterling silver stems, red glass cherries, glass flowers, and peridot chips for leaves.

Vintage Flower Brooch

Add some whimsy to corporate attire, liven up a sweater, or add a splash of color to a handbag with this funky purple '60s brooch. Orange Button has a wide selection of brightly-colored vintage brooches here.

Glitter Bangle Bundle

If you're going to wear multicolor glitter bangles, I think it's important go for it and wear a gob of them. This set comes with 18. The better to add sparkle to your wrist. Or whole arm.

Green Bangles

I love the look of these funky green resin bangles. The chunky bracelets, which are a little more than an inch thick, come in two different shades of green. And not only are the bracelets green, but they're green--a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these bangles goes to environmental causes.

Lemondrops Necklace

The bright yellow beads on this choker necklace make me think of Lemonheads. Yummy. I like that there are a few white beads thrown in for visual interest. Even though they don't look as tasty.

Pink Gold Bangle

This thin bangle is pretty cool looking. I like its interesting texture. It's made of beaded sterling silver that's been covered in this soft pink 18-karat gold. I think a stack of three or four of these would look amazing with an evening gown.

MapTote Tote Bag

Okay, the reason I think these canvas tote bags are so cool might have a little something to do with the fact that they have one representing my borough (Go, Queens!) and that the word Queens is wearing a little tiara. But the company also makes totes with maps of lots of major cities, including Portland, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

$15.00, MapTote

Paris Wings Necklace

The Eiffel Tower would make an awesome butterfly, as this cool necklace proves. On the reverse side of the one and a half inch pendant is another image of stags holding a crown. A little Eiffel Tower charm (sans butterfly wings, unfortunately) dangles from the 18-inch chain too.

Canvas Kisslock Pouch

At first, I thought the pattern on this clutch was fishing net or something naval. But now all I see is chain-link fence. Which is pretty great. It makes me think of climbing over the fence at my grandmother's house when I was a kid. For some reason, climbing fences is fun when you're young. That and making forts out of couch cushions.

Printed Canvas San Isidro Bag

Maybe it's just the February blues, but the sunny, happy yellow and white polka-dots on this canvas bag are calling out to me. Plus, the bag, which is about 13 inches wide, has these cool round resin handles. I'm imagining it on my arm as I walk on a warm beach somewhere.
