Lace Boxy Woven Top

I recently bought this light cotton top, and now it's one of my favorite things to wear. It feels cool and comfortable, perfect for summer weather, and the cap sleeves and lacy trim make it interesting. And the price sure is nice. I kind of want to buy a second.

Oh Deer Gumdrop T-strap Houndstooth Flat

These T-strap flats demand attention. The loud houndstooth print makes a subdued outfit--yes, I'm thinking of the all-black outfits we often wear in New York--more interesting. And it makes loud, colorful outfits all the more loud and insane.

$89.95, Solestruck

Zebra Print Occasional Chair

I totally want this chair. The shape is very Louis XV, but the fun zebra print gives it a modern spin. I think it would be a fun piece for the living room. In the bedroom, it's a cool place to drape clothes when you feel too lazy to use hangers.

Murval Summer Travel Tote

This bag from Murval (the big one shown in the photo) is so chic. I love the brown and turquoise baroque pattern. At 19 inches wide and 11 inches tall, this bag makes a great weekender bag or a carry-on. And it's canvas, so you could even toss a couple of towels in it and take it to the beach.

Atomic Food Containers

At my office, we get periodic all-company e-mails imploring that the person who swiped someone's baby carrots or whatever return these items to the company fridge immediately. If your coworkers or roommates have sticky fingers when it comes to your grub, try storing it in these things. Labels like "Nuclear Waste: Eat and Glow" might make them think twice.

Nine West Eden Flats

These ballet flats are bright and fun. In addition to this color, they come in blue, yellow, and brown. And the python pattern makes them a lot more interesting. These would look great with jeans or a summery skirt.

Givenchy Pop Gloss Crystal Lip Gloss

I saw someone wearing this the other day, and I couldn't help but ask where she got it. This sparkly sheer gloss gives your lips a gorgeous shimmer. And I love the pretty peaches and pinks. It comes in more than 15 shades.

Stainless Steel Snack Bowls

I like how these stainless steel bowls sit slightly askew to offer you easier access to your snacks. They come in two sizes: 7 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches in diameter. The larger one's big enough for a modest offering of pretzels and chips. And the little one is the perfect size for dip.

Alessi Pink Big Love Ice Cream Bowl And Spoon

I'm pretty sure that any bad day could be counteracted by eating a big mound of ice cream served in this hot pink chalice with its cheesy heart-shaped spoon. If you're going to wallow in Ben & Jerry's, this is the way to do it. I guess you could also hypothetically use this to share a bowl of ice cream with your sweetheart (if there's any left).

$49.99, Bed Bath & Beyond

Ladybug Watch Necklace

Here's yet another necklace watch. These things are everywhere, but I do think it's classier to tell time with your necklace than your cell phone--which is how I've been doing it these days. I like how this ladybug's wings open up to reveal the watch. Plus, the price is low enough that you won't feel horrible if this fad dies out next month.

Thomas Paul Bali in Red Cotton Pillow

I really like the colorful design on this throw pillow by Thomas Paul. I think if I had this on my couch it would be easier to make believe that I was in a beach-side hut drinking a coconut beverage and being fanned by palm leaves.

Mr. Rooster

These steel silhouettes remind me of my recent trip to Kauai, where the whole island was infested with them. I didn't need an alarm clock, because they made sure I always woke up before sunrise. I think I prefer the steel variety. Each one is about 18 inches tall.

Five Porcelain Keys

These aren't really keys, and they don't really open anything. In fact, they're totally useless. But they're nice decoration. And you could tie one on a string and make a little necklace. Or you could buy a few sets, put them on a big hoop, and make your own ceramic janitor's keys.

Gucci by Gucci Eau de Toilette

Perfume is a very personal thing. One gal's signature scent is another's stinkfest. That said, I really like this new fragrance from Gucci. It smells rich and feminine and womanly without getting too fruity or old-lady-ish. I could definitely see wearing it on a date.

Citrine Fringe Earrings

I love the golden sparkle of these citrine earrings. The citrine drops are decorated with a little fringe of golden garnets. The earrings are a little less than an inch long.
