Stila Smoky Eye Palette

What drew me to this smoky eye kit was the built-in audio instructions that tell you how to put it on. But now that I listen to them, turns out they are unbelievably useless. At least the eye colors are awesome--very rich and shimmery. I especially like the bronzes and the grays, but the emeralds (shown here) might be fun too.

Peacock Bangle

The peacock feather design on this plastic ivory bangle is so dramatic. I like the way the wispy barbs of the feather overlap and intertwine. And the blue eye in the middle gives the design a splash of color.

Becca Single Stone Earring

Agapantha makes these pretty hoops with a variety of different stones, including blue jade, moonstone, hot pink jade, and smoky quartz. I think my favorites are the citrine stones (shown here). I like their golden glow.

$58.00, Agapantha

Roxy Blaine Mary Jane

These comfy canvas Mary Janes with rubber soles are cute for kicking around, walking the dog, and running those Saturday errands. For you West Coast gals, they also come in a light pink tropical pattern.

Gearshift Jacket

This dark charcoal twill jacket is figure flattering, with its cap sleeves, belted waist, and fabric that flows away at the hips. And I love the colorful piping that matches the lining of the jacket. That makes it more interesting.

$118.00, Anthropologie

Smoke and Mirrors Earrings

These earrings are so sparkly and beautiful. They're made of gray topaz and a round-cut smoky quartz. I love how the cut of the stones makes them glimmer in the light. They are available with either sterling silver or gold-fill parts.

Candle Holder Flashlight

If the lights go out, this candlestick holder has all of your bases covered. It's also a nifty flashlight. (The LED bulb is underneath the base.) Plus, it's pretty handy if you need to take out Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory.

KitchenArt Elite Spice Carousel

My brother and sister-in-law got me this awesome spice rack for Christmas. The spinning carousel, which comes with eight spices, has some pretty cool tricks. When you twist the bottom of the spice container, 1/4 of a teaspoon of spice comes out automatically. (That's great for people like me who aren't sure if they own measuring spoons.) And if you pull up on the top, it reveals little holes, so you can sprinkle the spice.

Oxo Pop Containers

A lot of Tupperware-esque containers make me feel mentally challenged. I get one side sealed and then the other side pops back up. I actually threw away one bowl because it was making me so angry. But these stacking containers are pretty nifty. You just push down a button in the middle of the lid to seal or unseal one. Here's a video of how it works.

$6.95 to $16.95 each, Crate & Barrel

Woodnetic Frames

These photo frames are pretty funky. They look like curvy wood, but they're magnetic. You stick your photos to them with the tiny strong magnets that come with it. It makes it pretty easy to swap out photos or make a little collage.

$15.95 to $28.50 each, FridgeDoor.com

Pixie Candleholder

These tea light candle holders are so cool looking. I like how the glass in the middle forms a kind of decorative candlestick. I think two of them would look great on a dining room table.

$9.95 each, Crate & Barrel

Anise by Ilan Dei Wall Decals

I want these cool anise decals for the walls in my bedroom. There's something relaxing about them. Maybe it's the colors. They come in gray, lilac, white, and black. You get 11 decals in different sizes, and can buy them in one color or a combination of two. I dig the gray and lilac combo.

$65.00, Blik

Gem Field Dress

The awesome thing about this little gray sheath dress by Yoana Baraschi are the bunches of flowers sewn around the collar. The monochromatic flowers are made of different fabrics and each one has a shiny silver facet in the center. The effect is just gorgeous.

$158.00, Anthropologie

Pearl Ruby Fringe Earrings

I've never really been that into pearls, but I'm kind of obsessed with the pearl jewelry from Michele Lynne Designs. I think these small earrings, which measure a little less than an inch long, have a beautiful combination of freshwater pearls and ruby beads.

$60.00, Michele Lynne Designs

Cecile Patent Diva Clutch

I think everyone needs a "diva" clutch, don't you? I like how this one, which is made of shiny red vinyl and measures 13 inches across, has a cool pattern stitched into it. It kind of looks like a fingerprint. Or maybe waves. Or a Rorschach test. Whatever you think it looks like, it's fierce.
