Although I prefer using my laptop on the couch (usually while watching television–it’s called multi-tasking), it’s too bad that I don’t have a desk at home, because I really like funky desk lamps like this 13-inch tall curvy number. You touch it to turn it on, and it uses an environmentally sound LED light that doesn’t need to be replaced.
