Teardrop Bead Earrings

I don't think there's such a thing as too many earrings, especially at less than $4.00 a pair. These dangly earrings, which are more than two inches long, have brown and magenta beads cut in a cool shape that reminds me of star bits on Super Mario Galaxy (I'm addicted). They also come in olive and teal.

Skippers and Sulphurs Jacket

Butterflies! This little twill jacket is so cute for Spring. The pattern is fun, but it also has a great shape and pretty blue buttons that are the same shade as a Blue Morpho butterfly. One note on sizing, though: Anthropologie's jackets tend to run a little small.

Dolce Vita Moritz Flats

It's still too cold (at least where I live) to don these pretty Metallic open-toe flats, but there's nothing wrong with planning ahead for Spring. These leather shoes come in either a super cute shiny bronze or silver snake skin print. They'd look great with everything from jeans to a cocktail dress.

$105.00, Piperlime

Murano Heart Clustered Bracelet

I like the way the pink and gold beads look together on this pretty bracelet. The gold beads are made of Murano glass with gold leaves inside, and the chain is 24-karat gold plated. The only cheesy thing is the shiny pink heart dangling from the end. But if it's a Valentine's Day gift, maybe it's not so bad.

$75.00, Red Envelope

Ruffled Woven Shirt

This top has enough ruffles to rival Jerry Seinfeld's infamous puffy shirt, but there's something really cute about the construction. I like the way it ties at the waist too. It's made of cotton and comes in either taupe or dark pink.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall Mirror

This mirror won't tell you you're the fairest of them all, but staring at yourself in it does put a garland of white roses over your head, which does kind of give you the aura of a Disney heroine.

$52.00, Urban Outfitters

Carved Metal Candelabra

Somehow it's been 17 years since Beauty and the Beast came out in movie theaters, and yet when I look at this, the song "Be Our Guest" starts playing in my brain. Despite all that, I really like this white carved candelabra. It would look elegant on a dining room table or really just about anywhere you want a mod Victorian look.

$69.00, Brocade Home

Arc Touch Lamp

Although I prefer using my laptop on the couch (usually while watching television--it's called multi-tasking), it's too bad that I don't have a desk at home, because I really like funky desk lamps like this 13-inch tall curvy number. You touch it to turn it on, and it uses an environmentally sound LED light that doesn't need to be replaced.

$98.00, Chiasso

Carton Vase

Pop a few flowers in this porcelain vase shaped like a milk carton to snaz up a morning meal or breakfast in bed. The vase, created by British designer James Burgess, looks nice on the kitchen counter too. Just don't accidentally pour any of the liquid on your cereal.

$6.95, CB2

Wallter Butterfly Mobile

This is pretty cool looking. You attach a butterfly-shaped plate to the ceiling, and then these butterflies, in various sizes of painted steel, cascade down on strings. The butterflies come in four different color combinations. If butterflies are too girly for you, Wallter also makes several other shapes.

Heart Silicone Cupcake Molds

Who wants heart-shaped cupcakes? I do! I do! I'm not really sure how these things work. I guess you fill them up with batter and put them on a baking pan or something. Maybe someone else could take care of that part while I go buy frosting and heart-shaped sprinkles.

$14.95 for eight, Williams-Sonoma

Retro Valentines

Remember second grade? All of the boys and girls thought each other were pretty icky, so it was especially awkward giving each other these pun-heavy declarations of love. That said, I still have a soft spot for these cheesy retro V-day cards. I especially like the space-themed pack with cheesy lines like "I don't like space between us, Valentine" and "You're out of this world."

$7.00 for 10, Fred Flare

We Dream in Colour Nature Drops

I can't really explain why I like adorning myself with leaf designs. Maybe it dates back to the laurels worn in ancient times. Or the clovers we used to string together in the yard. In any case, I like these pretty blue leaf earrings. They're long (about four inches) and elegant, fashioned out of brass with 18 karat gold plating.

$28.00, Urban Outfitters

Primavera Bed Linens

These cushy 300-thread-count linens are decorated with a fun blue marigold pattern from Marimekko of Finland. The fluffy marigolds make the bed look especially soft and serene.

$119 for a queen-size comforter and $129 for a queen-size sheet set, Crate & Barrel

Ginger Tee

This definitely is not another boring T-shirt. This cotton jersey top is decorated in so many little ruffles that it could have had an appearance in Dangerous Liaisons. Or at least Drunk History. It also comes in black, white, and chocolate brown.
