I really dig this necklace by Spanish jewelry designer Monica Vinader. I like the color combination of the chunky semi-precious stones with the little engraved gold heart pendant.

I pretty much love everything about this sweater. The feminine shape, the three-quarter-length sleeves, the asymmetric bow, the warm color. It's also available in a gorgeous cornflower blue.
$68.00, Anthropologie
You can tote about a liter of your favorite hot or cold beverage around in this lovely stainless steel thermos. Now you can drop the Starbucks habit and use the $10,000 or so you save to buy something nice.
$26.95, Wrapables
These faux suede flats were made without any animal products. Even if that's not something that's important to you, you can still appreciate their cuteness. I like the antique-looking button on the side. These would look great with jeans.
$39.00, Alternative Outfitters
These salt and pepper shakers are so cute! Too much salt might be a temptation, but I wouldn't say pepper is blameless. Maybe you could fill the angelic shaker with Mrs. Dash.
$14.00, Wexner Center Store
The graphic pattern on these porcelain coasters by Neutrino Designs makes me think of science class--the Periodic Table and molecules. I like their funky, modern look.
$24.00, Art Star Gallery & Boutique
This is much more elegant than my collection of tacky mismatched coffee mugs. I could even see taking this hand-painted stoneware cup into the office. It would look nice on my desk and save a few thousand paper cups.
$24.95 for two, Wrapables
These earthenware mixing bowls are fun. The smaller bowl is 9 inches in diameter, the larger is 12 inches. Serve up your trademark dish (or even a helping of mac and cheese) in one of these for the attention it deserves.
$29.95 and $36.95, Crate & Barrel
After I read this article in the New York Times last year, I got on a kick of making my own salad dressings. I like using this oil, with a complex orange zest flavor, combined with cider vinegar, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and chopped fresh dill. So good.
$21.00, CS Post & Co.
I heart the design on this melamine platter by Thomas Paul. I like imagining that I am the woman in the serene garden. This would be nice as wall decoration too. It measures 14 inches in diameter.
$18.00, Elsewares
It has been a little chilly here this week, so I've been eyeing some fall jackets. I really heart this tweed number with ruffles, which also comes in black or teal. It also looks very cute from the back because of the detailing on the waist.
$140.00, Urban Outfitters
I like this slinky secretary top with a scoop neck and a long tie. It would look cute with a fitted jacket. It's also available in black or white.
$29.99, La Redoute
This candle isn't really a candle at all. It's an LED light that mimics a real flame. You even blow on it to turn it on and off. It's great for when you want ambiance, but don't want to burn the place down. The candles are either four inches or six inches tall.
$11.99 and $14.99, ThinkGeek
These tumblers are fun to look at. Each one looks like a dense forest with little green leaves poking out here and there. I almost expect to see a deer wander by.
$32.00 for four, Anthropologie
These are great for when you want to play that cool new song you put on your iPod for someone, but don't like the idea of your precious earbuds going in his ears. Ick. These speakers are a little less than five inches wide when folded.
