Cotton Rope Hammock

I've convinced myself that if I had a yard, I'd be kicking back in this right now. As it is, I'm measuring the landing on the fire escape, and the prognosis isn't good. (Surely people could scooch around it if there was a fire, right?) Maybe I can just put it my living room, close my eyes, and picture myself in San Juan.

$89.99, Bed Bath & Beyond

Tabetha Wedges

Maybe these are over-the-top girly, but I like them. The sculpted cork wedge is a nice effect, and the leather upper is very comfortable. And who could resist the peep toe and sweet leather bow? They also come in teal, orange, and black.

Sunburst Wire Wall Art

This is a pretty cool sculpture made out of stainless steel and mirrors. I'm thinking it would look nifty on the wall in my entryway. The whole thing is 24 inches in diameter.

$49.00, West Elm

Nantucket Crop Pant

I really like the fit of these cropped pants. They look so fresh and clean, and I like the wide hem on the legs. I bet they'd look great with a bright tunic like this one.

$188.00, Trina Turk

Seasoned Skewers

These add a kick to your shish kebabs when you cook them on the grill or in the oven. The wooden skewers come in five different flavors: thai coconut lime, honey bourbon, citrus rosemary, Mexican fiesta, and Indian mango.

$8.95 for a pack of 10, Sur La Table

French Bull Picnic Set

This has everything you need for a colorful picnic or civilized camping trip. It comes with four melamine plates and cups in fun mix-and-match patterns as well as four sets of silverware with patterned handles. Also included in the bag are salt and pepper shakers, cloth napkins, a cutting board, a bottle opener, and an insulated wine holder.

$129.00, Loft Party

Embroidered Cotton Top

This is a pretty summer top. The spaghetti straps tie at the shoulder, and the bottom of the shirt is embroidered with flowers. It also comes in red.

$17.80, Forever 21

Thinker Necklace

How charming is this little owl necklace? Besides the cute Cloisonné pendant, I like the other little touches like little leaves and the blue bead on the lobster clasp. The chain is 16 inches long.

$38.00, Anthropologie

Backyard Bugs Cake Pan

Normally, I have an aversion to eating bugs (it's just one of my quirks), but I'll make an exception in this case. With this cast-aluminium, nonstick pan you can whip up eight little bug cakes shaped like ladybugs, bees, butterflies, and dragonflies. And, of course, you'll have no choice but to go nuts with the icing.

$34.00, Williams-Sonoma

Jeni’s Ice Creams

Some of the flavor combinations sound kind of weird (coriander and raspberry?), but I assure you this ice cream is worth sending away for (or possibly planning a trip to Columbus, Ohio). Gravel Road, which is creamy caramel ice cream with smoked almonds, is maybe the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. The lemon and blueberry combo also rocked my world.

$65.00 for six pints, Jeni's Ice Creams

Grandpa Clock

This is a pretty cool clock. It's actually a five foot tall canvas print of a grandfather clock with a real working clock movement attached. Basically, it's a picture of a clock that really tells time.

$20.00, Loft Party

Leather Squid Wallet

I really enjoy this squid wallet, designed by Holly Strate. The slim wallet has two snap closures, a zipped pocket for change, and a few slots for cash and credit cards. Strate's Etsy shop also has a lot of cool leather clutches, belts, and cuff bracelets.

$32.00, Etsy

Working Class Studio Salad Plates

These eight-inch square melamine plates have really fun colors and patterns. They were created by Working Class Studio, a venture of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My favorites are the green deer plate and the blue bird plate, but I like how they all kind of go together.

$6.00 each, Elsewares

Red Flower Tumbler

I like the bright, cheery floral pattern on this 6.5 inch tall drinking glass. Anthropologie also sells three other similar styles that you can mix and match for a cool effect.

$4.00 each, Anthropologie

OXO Cherry Pitter

I could have really used one of these last year when my mom and I were making a pie with the cherries we picked from the front yard. My nails certainly would have fared a lot better. You can use it for olives too.
