I'm kind of a Forever 21 evangelist. I especially like the store's sunglasses, which, like this pair, are simple and nicely shaped. They're also insanely cheap.

These lamps are just awesome. Designer Heather Wells makes them out of cocktail umbrellas. They come in a lot of different color combinations. Each one is about 13 inches tall and takes a 45-watt light bulb. Oh, and get this: the umbrellas glow in the dark.

This delicate and pretty 14-karat gold fill pendant is about an inch in diameter and sits on an adjustable chain that can be 16 to 18 inches long. I also dig the matching earrings.
$42.00, Red Envelope
"Hey there, Little Red Riding Hood. You sure are looking good." So good that I want to take you with me everywhere I go. This cute clutch also comes in three other fairy tale motifs: Jack & the Beanstalk, the Wizard of Oz, and the Gingerbread Man. They all have a wrist strap and cute little buttons sewn on the outside.
$26.00, Fred Flare
Made to look like a bird perched on a branch, this sterling silver necklace measures about 16 inches long. I also like the similar sterling Elliot necklace. I can almost hear them chirping.
$65.00, Figs & Ginger
These leather peep-toe shoes with a stacked wooden wedge are so slick. They look stunning with anything from jeans to a cocktail dress, and are especially handy in tall grass (because the snakes will know you mean business).
$110.00, Urban Outfitters
I love this cocktail dress, though it may require some ingenuity with undergarments. The neckline plunges deeply both in the front and in the back, where the dress ties at the waist. If you can swing it, this would look great with some strappy sandals.

I'm not exactly sure what this illustration is (to me, it looks like a bug with leaves for wings and antlers instead of antennas), but I still dig the design. The glasses, which are about six inches tall, are part of a limited run by a Seattle artist who goes by the name Parskid.

This is a really cute satchel by Orlando, Florida-based designer Katie Reynolds of A Rare Bird Designs. I like the way the red vinyl looks with the brown felt oak leaf. I'm also a fan of her "ape friends" bag.

Here's a great idea for us lazy gluttons. Just add some eggs and butter, pour it into a pie shell, heat it up, and you've got an amazing pecan pie. Or you can just be extra lazy and gluttonous and eat it right out of the jar.
$14.00, CS Post & Co.
This little three-by-five-inch notepad slips easily into a handbag and is perfect for when you need to jot down a quick note or make a shopping list. Each initial has a different color combination. Click the link below to see them all.

What better way to kick off a fun weekend than with a weekend bag decked out with a colorful array of mischievous sock monkeys. The bag's exterior is made of durable plastic-coated fabric, and the whole thing measures two feet long and eight inches deep.

These three small maple serving boards have patterns of ginkgo leaves, olive branches, and bamboo stalks burned into the wood. Using these is an elegant way to serve fruit and cheese. They can also be used as trivets.
