This witty Mother's Day card shows the anatomy of a mother's heart including the locations of the Worry Valve, the Offspring-Protection Activator, and the Selfless-Impulse Ventricle. Knock Knock also carries some other quirky Mother's Day cards, including the Mothering Report Card.

These stainless steel coasters look nice on any coffee table. They have rubber bottoms, so they won't slip around. Invite some friends over, and everyone will start getting more strategic about where they set their glasses.

This DVD, which was released today, is worth buying just for the '80s-inspired "Pop Goes My Heart" music video at the beginning of the movie. This film also contains very funny performances from Hugh Grant (as a washed up pop star) and from Kristen Johnston (as his biggest fan).

I'm not quite sure about the name, but I like the shape of these earrings. Dangling from each simple gold-plated hoop is a little jade bead. They're about three inches long, and look particularly nice with long hairstyles.

This yellow and blue handbag is so pretty. Glenda Gies uses vintage fabric to make her bags, which gives them an authentic feel. This one is decorated with a matching blue brooch and has a cute blue and white pattern on the interior.

These clocks are really nifty. They rock back and forth almost like a pendulum, but in kind of a sporadic way. The clocks seems to have their own personalities. Each clock runs on a AA battery.

This is like desk art. I don't use a calculator much, but I wouldn't mind displaying this one, made of Japanese cedar, in my cubicle. I like its organic feel. It's about the same size a 45 rpm record (for those of you who remember how big that is).

I've had daydreams about eating at The Lady & Sons again ever since I visited Savannah, Georgia. Besides the fried chicken and creamed spinach, my favorite dish was the fried cornbread "hoe cakes." Turns out you can buy hoe cake mix from The Lady & Sons online. I'm excited to give it a try.
$6.99, The Lady & Sons
Though the print on the outside is of a geranium, these pretty little sachets are filled with organic lavendar. You can tuck one of the four and a half inch squares into a drawer, your pillowcase, or any place else that needs a little freshening up.

This is a great accessory for an updo. The sleek black silk headband is topped with a bling-tastic three-inch turquoise crystal flower. If that color is a little too bright for you, it also comes in a more subtle champagne shade.

Here's a cute little black dress for warmer weather. I like the flowy sleeves and fabric. Although, the décolletage could get pretty revealing for gals with a lot of cleavage.

I really enjoy the work of Matte Stephens, a painter based in Birmingham, Alabama. He paints a lot of birds and owls in a color palette that reminds me of my 1970s childhood. His prints, which he sells on Etsy, are very affordable. If you're interested in buying one of his original pieces, you can find them in his Etsy shop or at Velocity Art and Design.

This is a mod take on grandma's doilies. (Full disclosure: I adored my grandmother's doilies and longed for a dress made out of them.) These rubber coasters, which come in black or white, are also a lot easier to wash than their crochet or paper counterparts.
