This is a beautifully made little cotton dress. I love the lace details along the neckline, the crochet insets, and the bright flower embroidery.

I seem to find all of the morbid bathtub stoppers. (See?) Even though it resembles the hand of a little drowning person, I still think it's cute.

This looks like it might be some kind of egg timer, but it's actually a clock. It stands a little over six inches tall, and the larger cone marks the hours while the smaller cone marks the minutes. It runs on two AA batteries.

I like how this floor lamp is both retro and modern looking. It has five chrome arms that swivel and a sturdy white marble base. It goes really great with modern-looking furniture.

I recently moved, and I totally misjudged the size of my new apartment. It's much larger than I realized (I know, cry me a river). Now my living room looks kind of bare, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with a giant white wall. I think I found a solution in these hexagonal shelves. They look interesting all by themselves, plus you can fill them with books, vases, and other knickknacks.

This cool travel radio comes in several colors and cranks out high-fidelity audio. Buy an extra cable for five bucks, and you can also use it as travel speakers for your iPod or other MP3 player. It runs on six rechargeable AA batteries, but you can recharge them just by plugging in the AC adapter.

Sure, it's made of lucite, but this chunky bracelet from Betsey Johnson still looks like it could be straight out of the Victorian era. I really enjoy both the fake gilding and the cabochons with images of roses and frolicking young women.

I really like this new suede bag from Imooi. It comes in blue, pink, and beige, each with thick straps and buckles. This bag has both a zipper and a funky snap closure that echoes the pattern near the buckles.

This nifty fan designed by Marc Berthier is great for your desk or bedside table. I really like the simple, chic design and how the blades match the switch. The blades are made of soft PVC, so you won't hurt yourself if you stick your hand in there.

These are just a lot of fun. They come in five other colors, but I only like them for the bright green and white polka dots. As one of the reviewers put it, they are a great alternative to flip flops.
