This belted cotton dress is sweet, with its spaghetti straps and delicate white embroidery. It hits just above the knee, is fun and breezy for warm weather, and looks cute with a cardigan too. The dress also comes in black.

I like modern plays on the traditional cuckoo clock, and this one may be the most elegant I've seen. The whole thing is a flat chrome surface, fashioned in the silouette of the Black Forest classic.

This fabulous tote by Bambina di Cioccolato comes in several pretty colors, each with a suede exterior and a metallic leather trim. It measures 15 inches across, big enough to hold reading materials, make-up, and all that other random stuff that I insist on carrying around with me at all times.

Unfortunately, these chunky leather bangles aren't made of real snake skin (I like to show snakes that I am not one to be trifled with), but they're still great for transforming a day outfit into an evening one. Each bracelet is an inch and a half thick.

I love the look of these little lip balm containers. Each lip balm is vanilla cream flavored and contains an SPF-20 sunscreen as well as aloe vera, shea butter, and vitamins A, C, and E.

I saw this clock mentioned in Vanity Fair a few months ago and couldn't resist. It is one of my favorite purchases. Apparently, they sell these for a buck each on the streets of Dubai. Fortunately for those of us who can't quite justify dropping a grand on a plane ticket just to buy a $1 clock, you can buy it online.

When I first looked at these it took me a while to see the monogram. New York City design company, Superdeluxe, actually integrates the letters into the graphic design of each paperweight. They all look really amazing, but the M, J, and L are my favorites. (If you don't see the letter you're looking for, try here.)

This lap desk is perfect for those days when you have to work from home, but are too sick (or don't want) to get out of bed. Or it just can be a smooth surface on which to rest your snacks when you lie down to watch a movie. It even has a little cup holder.

This is yet another fun, creative product that Italian designer Stefano Giovannoni has developed for Alessi. I love how the bunny provides leverage for ripping off a paper towel.
